Valuing Aboriginal Culture
Staff at Charthouse are committed to create culturally responsive environments where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students feel included and successful. The Cultural Perspectives Team work together to raise awareness of all cultural representation across our school, including Noongar Boodja.
More information will be shared with staff via Teams, during meetings and SDD’s as well as email.
“Culturally responsive schools build collaborative relationships between staff, Aboriginal students, their parents and families, and communities to support student learning. They create opportunities to engage parents, families and communities in improving the education outcomes for Aboriginal students” (Aboriginal Cultural Standards Framework).
