Assembly

Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend our assemblies

All classes attend an assembly once a fortnight on Friday morning.

Pre-primary students attend junior assemblies and receive merit certificates but do not attend whole school assemblies until term 3.

Kindy students do not attend assemblies.

Whole school assemblies

We hold  2 to 3 whole school assemblies per term (depending on other commitments or public holidays) where there is a class item; student leaders’ input; Charthouse News and me. 

  • These assemblies are run by the class presenting the item.
  • A ‘Student of the Month’ award is presented for each class.  This award is a citizenship aware to recognise the children who always do the right thing and put 100% in either an academic or non-academic area.

Sub-School Assemblies

  • We hold  a junior assembly and a senior assembly alternating in the two weeks before and after the whole school assembly. 
  • These assemblies will be run by the Student Leaders and the sub school’s Associate Principal.
  • Merit Awards are handed out at these assemblies.
  • These assemblies have a positive behaviour support (PBS) values and behaviour focus
  • We want parents to come so want to make it fun and informative.
