Parents/Carers are welcome and encouraged to attend our Assemblies.
All classes, except Kindy, attend our Whole School Assemblies.
Pre-primary to Year 2 students attend Junior Assemblies and receive merit certificates. Pre-Primary students do not attend Whole School Assemblies until Term 3.
Year 3 to Year 6 students attend Senior Assemblies and receive merit certificates.
Kindy students do not attend Assemblies.
Whole school Assemblies
We hold Whole School Assemblies during the term (depending on other commitments or public holidays), which include, a Student Council update, The Charthouse News, Student of the Month Certificates and a Principal’s Address.
- These Assemblies are run by Student Councillors.
- A ‘Student of the Month’ award is presented for each class. This award is an award to recognise the students who always follow our ARCH Expectations and put 100% in either an academic or non-academic area.
Sub-School Assemblies
- We hold a Senior Assembly and a Junior Assembly throughout each term where there is a class item presented. The class item’s theme is based on the Weekly ARCH Expectation.
- These assemblies will be run by the Student Leaders and the Sub School’s Associate Principal.
- Merit Awards are handed out at these assemblies.
- These assemblies have a positive behaviour support (PBS) values and behaviour focus
- We want parents to come so want to make it fun and informative.
